In my opinion, this is the best value around. The layout itself is slightly above average and it is usually in good shape for the weekends. It is neither especially long nor short and set so that a variety of clubs must be played off the tees.
The greens are this course's best attribute. Although only of average size, and not hand-mowed, they are fast and true.
In quality, Briarwood ranks behind this area's Quail Ridge, and Thornapple Pointe, but far surpasses them in value. |

This is an above average course and if you can get on you should try it. Greens are undulating and never have a flat putt. Driving is not an issue here but approach shots are tough with water guarding 2/3 of greens. Good par 5's with small greens or water so going for them in 2 is a big risk. |
