Tierra del Sol Golf Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Tierra del Sol Golf Club -- Played Tierra del Sol many times
Review by: Gary Tharp Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.

Poplar Creek Golf Course -- Rude lady with bad attitude at pro shop.
Review by: Kenneth Johnson First of all, the golf course isn't bad at all. I actually had a good time the first time I played it. The second time was a disaster. After the ninth hole, I went to use the restroom inside the club house instead of the outside restroom. When I got out, this fiftyish blonde haired lady came out YELLING at me and my friend. She said that we were not allowed to use the restroom inside and that we should use the one outside. She continued to yell at us at how we were holding up play even when we pointed out to her that there wasn't anyone behind us. You will know this lady when you meet her. There is another lady that is very nice there that acts professional and always acts as if she must apologize for her mean co-worker. I assure you, you will know who I am talking about. She is horrible. I have met others who complain about her too. If you can make it past her, I think you'll have a good time at this golf course. Its a piece of cake. Flat and easy.
