| Tierra del Sol Golf Club -- Played Tierra del Sol many times |
| Review by: Gary Tharp |
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community.
This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher. |

| Review by: Mike |
The course is narrow and it can be long depending on which tee box you select to play from. Do not stray your shots as it is not as forgiving and that makes it so exciting to play as it challenges all skill types. If you are playing it for the first time I suggest playing the white or blue tees. The best time of year that I can remember playing is in September/October as the greens run fast that time of year. If I had to guess, I would say they are an 11 on the stimp meter. My father is a member and I play when I visit. What a great time we have and so will you. |
