Hickory Sticks Golf Club -- *Nice course for relaxing round*
Review by: John	This is a very nice course. It's a bit out of the way, so tee times are usually easy to get. There are various degrees of difficulty, especially on the back nine, where the last few holes criss-cross a lake. There is no driving range, but there is a nice practice green. The pro shop doesn't have a great selection, and refreshments are very limited. But don't let that keep you from checking out this enjoyable course surrounded by quiet farmland.

Hickory Sticks Golf Club -- *A True Beauty*
Review by: Jordan Fredrick	Hickory Stix is a truly beautiful course. I live 5 min. away from the course and have gotten to play it many times. I love Hickory Stix because it is nestled in the country so it's a nice course to escape to and play a quiet round. It is constantly kept in excellant condition and has 18 beutiful holes to offer. Greens fees need to come down a little bit though.

Review by: Simon	I have played this course many times in the past two years and I love to come back. From the front tees it is a friendly course for the average golfer but gets significantly more difficult moving back on the tees. The setting is wonderful and the course has never been crowded. If you want a round of golf "away from the madding crowd" this is the spot!! Good value too..........oh and by the way the Metwurst are outstanding!!!

Calabasas Golf & Country Club
"Excellent course"
This is an well-designed, well-maintained course nestled among hills and oak trees about an hour west of downtown Los Angeles. It is a Robert Trent Jones designed course, located on land that was previously Warner Ranch. Many movies were filmed on this location, and each hole is named after one of the movies filmed there. It is not long, but it is a challege. Narrow fairways, oak trees, water, fast and undulating greens. Very interesting holes and pin placements.

Wayland Country Club
"Great space, awesome views!"
This course borders thousands of acres of protected land on the Sudbury River. The views are great, the course is quiet and they have one of the best Golf shops around. I would recommend a stop at this place for golfers that really enjoy the game.

Acushnet River Valley Golf Course
"My review"
A very nice course! I haven't played many course's, but this is my favorite. It's a nice looking course, flows nicely, and it's different (woods to link style), plus it's in my home town. The rates are reasonable, but they (non-resident)may need to be lowered a bit to get people through the gates. For a course this nice, it should have a functioning club house (i.e., bar, resturant, function hall, etc.), get Titleist as sponsor.

Rancho Solano Golf Course
"Plenty of Choices"
Rancho Solano presents the normal golfer a blend of narrow fairways with generous ones but the most memorable traits are indeed the greens. Being on the right level on a given green can be your ticket to a great round while being on the wrong one can ruin your day. The hilly area is well displayed as the course undulates through the Fairfield foothills and some of the views from the higher holes are outstanding.
