Don't let the yardage fool you. This is one course where you'll use every club in your bag. On the short 138yd par 3 8th hole, get on the wrong side of the green and good luck making par...you'll need it. From the railroads that cuts across the course to the small doomed green, your in for a great day, if you can find par that is.... |

| Greenwood Country Club - Lake/Cedar Course -- Use every club in your bag |

Some of the finest bent grass greens you will find in the area. Original George Cobb design. The main 18 (Cedar/Lake) was refurbished and Crenshaw bent installed about seven years ago under the supervision of Clyde Johnston. At almost 6500 yds, the regular men's tees are a good test and with five sets of tees you can find a course length to fit your game. No gimmicks. Straight up golf. Has hosted a U.S. Senior Open Qualifier and several Big South Conf. Championships. |
