This course is a great find and the treasure that I could keep coming back over and over again. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a well maintained and beautiful course tucked away from civilization. But not too far from NY city About 1 1/2 hours... Metro north goes there using the Path train and from Secaucus or Hoboken station, you can get a direct ride to Campbell Hall which is 3 min away from the golf course. |

A fun course to play, and probably the most playable in the area. The other offerings around here make the hills more of a gimmick than a feature. Allegheny is simply a nice track through the hilly regions of New York. It is admittedly a bit of a crap shoot as far as course and green conditions, however. But for what it is, it's an enjoyable day of golf. Very affordable. |
