Owl's Nest is a course worth seeing and playing... but once is enough.
Current greens fees are $70.00/pp with cart, even on weekdays. The elevation changes range from dramatic to staggering.
The front nine holes are playable... even enjoyable; but holes 12-17 direct play, literally, up one side of a mountain & down the other. |

Apple Hill is a very good golf course. Reasonably priced and well-maintained. Some challenging hilly holes as wel as some good water holes. Most difficult is the 10th, with a 2nd shot over a large marsh. At the right time of day, can be played without a lot of crowds. Great evening deals. |
