This course is just far enough off of the beaten path to avoid many summer tourists, and 18 holes will only cost you $20 if you walk it. The fairways are wide and forgiving (if you slice one, you will probably be able to find it here, which isn't true of most Maine courses). Variety is also a big plus on this course. The variance from elevated greens, to down hill shots, to long holes, to par 3's is mixed up just enough to keep the tempo fresh and not monotonous. Some holes will boost your confidence for the other holes that take some of it away. |
