Cherokee Country Club -- *Price in unbeatable*
Review by: Jereme Tant	The course is not the best course in the world but they have really nice fairways and greens. The holes are challenging with trees and water coming into play. It is a very fun course especially considering the price.

Heatherwood Golf Club -- *Not very enjoyable*
Review by: Lynn Sullivan	A group of seven played on Friday 7-22-05. One of the seven is a member, one is a former member,the other five have played the course several times. Greens were in fair condition. It is not worth the fifty dollars for a round of golf. This course will not make a good golfer better or an average golfer enjoy playing. Heatherwood should be plowed and corn planted in its place. If the course remains management should consider changing the name to Hellwood. It was agreed that this yearly gathering will not be at Heatherwood again. I will never play this course again or recommend it to anyone. Members in the grill area were rude and unwelcoming. The staff in the pro shop and grill did do their jobs.

"Beautiful and challenging old-style course"
This a beautiful, scenic golf course which will challenge every golfer, regardless of handicap. The maturity of this course, which includes huge oak trees and large shade trees, gives the impression of walking in a park, with the added enjoyment of playing golf. Even though the length of the course is short by modern standards, that is where the challenge lies. Drives must be accurate, and pitch shots precise. The greens are deceptive and fast, and are well-bunkered. The clubhouse is very well-planned, with great views of the course from the men's lounge and dining room areas. The men's locker room has been remodeled, and I guarantee that Luis, the locker room chief, will never forget your name. He is a wonder. One golfing visit to this club will make you wish you could live in the area so that you could apply for membership -- it is a memorable golfing experience.

McPherson Country Club
"MCC was a tough little course"
I played in a Tourney there in June. It is a short course but one that demands shaping shots. MCC has postage stamp greens that are sloped and at times faster than any greens you will find anywhere. It is not uncommon to 3 or 4 whack on these greens that were well manicured. MCC is not your typical golf course but thats what makes it tough and fun. Bring your nerves cause this course is not a push-over to score low on.
