Brainerd Golf Course -- *Solid City Course*
Review by: John McGirk	Brainerd Golf Club is a classic city course design. The mature trees allow for some imaginative shots from off the fairway and save the golf ball budget. Greens are large and true with mostly straight in hole locations. The two holes heading back to the clubhouse have multi-level greens. This course is an easy walk and best enjoyed that way. Greens fees, staff and location make it easy to get to and enjoy a classic city round.

Review by: RCS	This is a good course for the money. The greens are usually in great condition. It is hard enough to keep the round interesting, but not so hard to make you fustrated with yourself on every hole.

"Oak Park Country Club"
This is a very nice course to play on. Not the most difficult course you will ever see, but it does have its moments. There is plenty of water and bunkers to keep any golfer busy. Also, the last four holes make the course very challegning. Holes 15 and 16 are the two of the longest par fives on the course. They are followed by the longest par 3 and the you finish of the round with the longest par 4 of the course. The scenery is definetly great, as is the atomosphere. Also, there is a state-of-the-art range and chipping green that could compete with any other clubs.

Fox Valley Golf Club
"quality at reasonable price"
One of the best course in the fox valley region. You pay for a membership and by the end of the summer you have played enough rounds to balance out the price. Prices are reasonable enough to allow members to bring a non-member at an affordable cost. The layout of the course challenges both right and left handed golfers.
