| Columbia Golf & Country Club -- Short but challenging |
| Review by: LR |
CG&CC is a challenging course (slope 133) not because of its length (only a bit over 6,200 yards from the back tees) but because it is tight requiring accurate tee shots. In addition, the greens are small, fast and undulating so you need to hit precise approach shots and be a solid putter. In fact, this course is one where the "golfer" as opposed to the "big hitter" can shine and let the big hitters "reload". |

| Colonial Country Club -- Every Shot Is Picture Perfect |
| Review by: C. F. Rice |
I've been travelling to The Thompson House (Windham, NY) for over 25 years. Every weekly visit made - Colonial Country Club is our course of choice (2-3 times) for the week. It is the most enjoyable 9-hole course I have ever played. Every shot, whether good or bad, is accompanied by a gorgeous view. Although the yearly trips have diminished, each time I visit feels like I was "just there last week". Great place to golf - see you on the course! |
