Featured Golf Course Review:
Columbia Golf & Country Club -- Short but challenging
Review by: LR CG&CC is a challenging course (slope 133) not because of its length (only a bit over 6,200 yards from the back tees) but because it is tight requiring accurate tee shots. In addition, the greens are small, fast and undulating so you need to hit precise approach shots and be a solid putter. In fact, this course is one where the "golfer" as opposed to the "big hitter" can shine and let the big hitters "reload".

Rockland Lake State Park Championship Golf Course - Executive Course -- Excellent mix of price and quality.
Review by: Lee One of the better public golf courses (excluding Bethpage, of course) in the New York metro area. Interesting and challenging enough, given it is less then $30 to play. A good practice course.
