Columbia Golf & Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Columbia Golf & Country Club -- Short but challenging
Review by: LR CG&CC is a challenging course (slope 133) not because of its length (only a bit over 6,200 yards from the back tees) but because it is tight requiring accurate tee shots. In addition, the greens are small, fast and undulating so you need to hit precise approach shots and be a solid putter. In fact, this course is one where the "golfer" as opposed to the "big hitter" can shine and let the big hitters "reload".

Loon Lake Golf Course -- A real gem that needs to be responsibly developed
Review by: Rustic Golfer It's love at first sight with Loon Lake Golf Course. Fly from NYC (via Albany) to the small but highly trafficked Lake Clear Airport or fly into Montreal and drive down to Loon Lake. The course is challenging and just plain fun. The views, the variety, the challenges all make this what golf is really about. You feel like you are getting a taste of St. Andrews.
