Marada Golf Course -- Great Place for a Quick, Enjoyable Nine
Review by: JKR Marada is a very nice, well-maintained 9-hole course. The greens are usually in exceptional shape and the staff are helpful and very friendly. If you are looking for a place to play a quick nine and you live near the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, Marada is a wonderful choice. Holes #3 and #5 (the first a par 4 requiring a tee shot over water and the second an uphill par 5, I believe) are good, solid holes. The course is seldom too crowded to finish a round in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Schenley Park Golf Course -- Craziest Golf Experience Ever.
Review by: Dazed and Confused Duffer When you tee-off the mats are a turn off but the course has an old-school feel to it as if you should be playing hickory shafts. The course looks simple enough from the first tee. The second hole is where the craziness begins. Your second shot on this dog-leg is over a road with traffic and cyclists and joggers.... There is little trouble on this golf course except for some punishing slopes and thick long grass around the greens. And then there is the road. I believe you cross it 8 or 9 times as traffic flows by. A couple of holes tee off from one side of the valley over the road and too-tall trees to a hidden green on the other side of the up-slope. Must be seen to be believed. One long par-3 up hill hits over a hairpin turn in the road. A must play just so you know how weird it can get.
