I have enjoyed this course for over 10 years. It seems to be a well-kept secret, however. The owner of the course and his wife are the finest folks you will ever meet. Although the course is short, it is demanding. You must place your shots very well in order to shoot a good round.

The review of Lovington Country Club being a 1 star course is not very accurate. I have played that course numerous times and go back to play in a tournament every year. The cousre is now a true 18 hole golf course. They have built another 9 holes around and through a old lake bed that has some suprising amount of elevation changes.
Also the greens are as good as any you will find as well as fast and true. This is not a up-scale country club but the course itself is always a pleasure to play. Marty the head pro has a well equipted pro shop, and the people you will find are as good as gold.
