Corning Country Club -- *Little Gem in The Rough*
Review by: Happy Guest	Fall 2003 Great course with alot options to shoot 100. Not alot of room out there for mistakes. It's not that long of a course except for a couple of holes, but those holes can sneak up and bite you in the ass. Love the layout and the elevation changes. They have a great staff in the golf shop. Assistant Pro Norman was very helpfull, and Head Pro Mike Heib was very friendly towards us. It was great experience for us.

Review by: Anonymous	The Corning CC is well maintained all season. The course offers a combination of long and short holes with fairwas lined with trees. Greens are small and fast, but reasonable. Well worth the trip.

Emerald Lakes Golf Center
"The nicest 9 hole around"
Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

Sadaquada Golf Club
"sadaquada"
I am a member at Sadaquada. The club itself is great, good location, good family scene. The course is 9 holes, and is a fairly simple course. However, they do keep the course in great shape and are constantly working to improve it.

Tashua Knolls Golf Club
"Nice but expensive"
Tashua has recently been given a facelift, and is a good place to play on a tourney-class course. It's pretty hilly, so if you're not used to walking, a cart is recommended. The front 9 is challenging, and the back 9 are truly a piece of work. Difficulty is comperable to Laurel View in Hamden, but with less water. Unfortunately, Tashua is somewhat expensive to play at if you aren't a Trumbull resident.

Wyndemere Country Club - Gold/Green Course
"Great, beautiful course"
Wyndemere is a great course where you can choose a combination of 2 of the 3 nine-hole courses. All three are beautiful and challenging, very upscale. Definitely recommended for any semi-experienced to very experienced golfers.
