Coronado Golf Course -- Great value and good golf...
Review by: C. Moore I have played this course on two occasions, and I must say that for the money there is no better value in San Diego(aside from Torrey Pines). Oddly, it remains kind of a secret among many local golfers I have spoken with. The course plays near the water, with views of downtown San Diego, the Coronado Bridge and the Hotel Del Coronado. Even in San Diego, this course is in a beautiful location. The course is challenging, but reasonable. One caveat: It plays EXTREMELY slow, which I have found is the norm for many course in San Diego. In fact, I have never seen the 17th and 18th holes in the two times I have played. So...get an early tee time. Don't bother to get a cart if you can walk, which is easy since the course is flat. A cart is a waste of money with this course, since it plays so slow.

Rancho Sierra Golf Club -- Long time player
Review by: Peter Zeko I have played this coarse for the past fifteen years and have seen a lot of good changes. The fairways are in much better shape than in past years. The water hazards are clean and a challenge to the average golfer. The greens are in excellent shape. The only thing that is missing are sand traps. For someone just learning the game and wants to have fun, this is the place.
