Coronado Golf Course -- Great value and good golf...
Review by: C. Moore I have played this course on two occasions, and I must say that for the money there is no better value in San Diego(aside from Torrey Pines). Oddly, it remains kind of a secret among many local golfers I have spoken with. The course plays near the water, with views of downtown San Diego, the Coronado Bridge and the Hotel Del Coronado. Even in San Diego, this course is in a beautiful location. The course is challenging, but reasonable. One caveat: It plays EXTREMELY slow, which I have found is the norm for many course in San Diego. In fact, I have never seen the 17th and 18th holes in the two times I have played. So...get an early tee time. Don't bother to get a cart if you can walk, which is easy since the course is flat. A cart is a waste of money with this course, since it plays so slow.

Wikiup Golf Course -- Fair Priced 9 hole course
Review by: Mike Wikiup Golf course is a great place to perfect your irons, with 6 of the holes under 150 yards. Hole #2, a 264-yard par 4 with a water hazard, really allows you to test your driver. Hole # 8 is a dogleg right, 385-yard par 4, that allows your slice a chance to shine. The staff in the pro shop are experienced and friendly.Wikiup Golf is only $21 for 18 holes on the weekend, more than half what you pay at other courses.
