I play this course maybe 3 times a week or more, and I just love the challenging aspects of it. Being on the gulf coast, you get constant winds at variable speeds and direction, along with the roads alongside to help make sure you keep your ball streight. I like the size of the greens, and the consistancy of the feel. Although you really can't get much bite from them, you still have to watch the roll and control.
With long par 4's and even longer par 5's you really have to play smart golf here, but there are opertunities for shorting the dog-legs for the more experienced player.
I gave this course a 4-5 for the great greens fees, and offers to the community. A real challenging course to better anyones game. |

This course is a great course. The up and down hill holes can make it a challanging course. The only negative about the course is the greens. If they could get the greens to look good this would be a better course to play on. |

For south Texas, this course isn't bad. It is one of the few with 'terrain features' - hills! |
