Mesa Verde's layout is the best in Orange County. Although it was built in 1959, the upgrades over the years make this a course for pros and amatures of all skill levels. Mesa Verde has hosted 5 PGA tournaments, 6 LPGA tournaments, and one Seniors. Course records were set by Namcy Lopez and Chi Chi Rodriguez. I play this executive course because it's a relaxing nine-holes. I can hone my iron skills, but hole #6 is challenging enough to use my driver. The course is well-maintained. Afternoons, it can get a little windy on holes 4-6. It's an easy course to walk. |
