Review by: Steve Dippel	mississippi dunes is a very nice course! They have a excellent club house and proshop that overlook the mississippi river. I have been playing this course since it was made. It is a hard and differnt style course then your average weekend one. Bring all your skill.

Minneopa Golf Club -- *Could be better*
Review by: Laura	Minneopa is a fairly good par 3 course, but maintenance and public use seems to be lower than average. I've golfed at most Mankato courses and Minneopa would be my least favorite. It does have some challenging holes which make the course fun, but the overall quality is poor.

David L. Baker Memorial Golf
"Good Starter Course"
For an inexpensive, well maintained course to play while you are learning the basics of golf, this course is the one to play on. No par 5's. The course has good water, and easy par 3's that are helpful when you feel the pressure of the group behind you when your beginning. For the price, the location in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park is beautiful, and I've never felt that a person starting off in the sport would feel embarrassed to make a mistake at this course.

"Ernie Montano"
For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.

Dayton Valley Country Club
"A Real Golf Course, Open All Year."
DVGC is a real test of golf. All the holes are fair and require you to hit shots. 7-9 and 16-18 are some of the toughest closing holes around this area. There are plenty of birdie opportunities if you are on your game, there are also plenty of water hazards if you are off your game. It has been known to blow a little in the afternoon, so play as early in the day as possible. Dayton Valley is a fantastic course with a terrific staff.

Experience at Koele, The
"Enjoyable golf in one of the world's greatest settings"
The Experience at Koele is a very nice Greg Norman designed layout that will having you often looking at the scenery in lieu of thinking about your next shot. One of two golf coures on the very upscale and exclusive island of Lanai, playing the Experience is a wonderful way to spend part of the day. The staff are very friendly and cater to whatever you need. Guests are there to have a good time and many people from around the globe find their way to Lanai to stay and play. When I played, the course was not quiet mature enough and, when mature, the golf course will be superb. It has been three years since then and I look forward to the next time I get a chance to stay on Lanai and enjoy again this course and/or the Nicklaus course near the ocean. If I only had one resort visit left in me, it would be to the Manele Bay Hotel and the island of Lanai. What more can I say.
