Cumberland Gardens Resort -- Challenging Beauty
Review by: Randy Hyatt Have played this course 4-5 times in the past few years but not since it reopened. If it is being taken care of this course is my favorite in the Crossville area. Its isolation on the mountain makes it very scenic and peaceful. The holes are beautiful and difficult but not impossible. Take a jacket in the spring. Hope to play it in early June on my annual trip to the area for golf.

Shelby Golf Course -- Bad Course
Review by: Logan Shelby is a very bad course. It is a bad layout, with bad conditions, in a bad part of town (It's actually being "revemped", but that is irrelevant). The course is monotonous with wide fairways, tiny greens, and HILLS. It has a lot of HILLS. Did I mention HILLS? Many of the greens are "unputtable" because of sand and holes (besides the one white one). The course is also in a bad part of town. A couple of years ago, country music singer Vince Gill was mugged while playing Shelby. The only good thin about this course is the price. It is cheap. Well, you get less than you pay for. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
