North Fork Country Club -- bayside gem
Review by: Anonymous Early Donald Ross course, tight fairways, tiny greens with winds off the Peconic bay affecting play rewards ball control.Old fashioned layout very pleasant, the course completely integrated Bay -Island landscape.

Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club -- True and challenging
Review by: Dave I have played every private course in Syracuse and I probably would say that I truly had the best time at Lake Shore. The Pro, Nick Serafino and his staff are second to none and the food will blow you away. The course is well manicured and is way above average when it comes to difficulty. The blue tee's offers three par threes over 190 yds and can make scoring difficult. The tree lined fairways along with several strategically placed sand bunkers can make the day a long one. The green are smooth and are very true and can be very fast when set up. Over all this course is the place to be in Syracuse.
