Brooklyn Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Brooklyn Country Club -- Just OK.
Review by: Scully The best feature of this course are the greens. The fairways leave much to be desired. Slightly rocky with alot of weeds. They would'nt be so bad if they were mowed more regularly. At times its hard to find your ball on the fairway.Overall, the course is getting better as time passes. The reason I give this course 2 stars is the greens. They are beautiful and the layout is nice.

Hunter Golf Club -- Best Bent Grass Public Access Greens in CT
Review by: Michael C. Stavola Municipal Golf courses offer a good learning experience for beginner, intermediate and experienced players of all ages. Since the game is designed for an average of 72 strokes, half assigned or presumed for green play or putting. Having had the pleasure and priviledge of playing both Pebble Beach and Beth Page Black, U.S. Open venues with limited public access, I know how good greens can get. Without a doubt, Hunter's playing/putting surfaces are equal to many private club greens in quality of puttability (if that is a word ). I commend the superintendant, Tom, on an outstanding effort to maintain those public play areas to a level that is truly a joy to putt on.
