I had played rounds at this course back in the early 1990's and it was terrible. A couple of years ago I tried it again. Much to my satisfaction the course was great. This course has really turned around. It is kept very well and offers a good challenge. |

Nice layout tough greens. Water comes into play on 3 holes( 2 being over the river. Very reasonably priced year round. |

I found this course and county club to be quite exciting. The main reason for this was because of one stand out individual. This man was Brad Irle, he introduced me to the realm that is Danville Country Club. Never before have I ever fathomed in any of my wildest, most exotic dreams to see such a plethora of food placed before me. After an enivorating and exciting round Brad and I stopped into the 19th whole to wet our whistles with a tasty tripple Gin and Tonic. I thank you Danville for all the memories I have, and the future visits that I look forward to. |
