Dayton Valley Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Dayton Valley Country Club -- A Real Golf Course, Open All Year.
Review by: Anonymous DVGC is a real test of golf. All the holes are fair and require you to hit shots. 7-9 and 16-18 are some of the toughest closing holes around this area. There are plenty of birdie opportunities if you are on your game, there are also plenty of water hazards if you are off your game. It has been known to blow a little in the afternoon, so play as early in the day as possible. Dayton Valley is a fantastic course with a terrific staff.

Red Hawk Golf Course -- Open Fairways
Review by: Arrowhead Aces Our foursome's consensus was that the course was very attractive, with open fairways -- easier than met the eye. For Midwesterners not used to the elevation changes, judging distances and angles was tough and fun, particularly from the tee boxes. Pretty tough greens, large and undulating. GPS system is very helpful for new players on this type of course. Some holes are surrounded by homes, construction so somewhat distracting and noisy. Other spots are wide open and spectacular. So, sometimes has the feel of a pure resort course - tight; and others a pure open course. Some of the greens had been aerated and fertilized, so weren't true.
