Point Mallard Golf Course -- Challenging
Review by: Johnnie The course plays long from the back. The changes to the greens may not be pleasing to the locals but I believe it has more character withe the changes. If you walk you may want to pack a water bottle. There are only two place's to get a drink other than the club house. No marshals on the course so pace of play could be an issue at times. It's well worth the ride from Madison.

Country Club of Tuscaloosa -- Older than Augusta National
Review by: Gram Parsons This isn't the most polished course you will play, but it has a lot of character. Kept it good condition where it counts, on the greens, tees, and bunkers. Water comes into play on several holes. Agree with the prior review: #13 is the hardest on the course: long, narrow, water all the way down the left side. Watch out for the gator in the #13 lake. This course was founded in 1920. There are quite a few memorable holes. Not a terribly hard course, but very charming.
