Point Mallard Golf Course -- Challenging
Review by: Johnnie The course plays long from the back. The changes to the greens may not be pleasing to the locals but I believe it has more character withe the changes. If you walk you may want to pack a water bottle. There are only two place's to get a drink other than the club house. No marshals on the course so pace of play could be an issue at times. It's well worth the ride from Madison.

Heatherwood Golf Club -- Great Course
Review by: Wayne What a great course. Requires shot making and thought. It isn't a "grip it and rip it" course, with little margin for error, but if you can play well at Heatherwood you can play well anywhere. Although the yardage isn't too long, the terrain (up hill approaches, long par threes) make it play long. If you are looking for an easy course go elsewhere, but if you want a good golf challenge, this is it. More challenging than Shoal Creek.
