Ravinia Green Country Club -- Golfing
Review by: Anonymous My golfing experience here was really great, and seeing Auggie the one-eyed dog made me depressed.

Antioch Golf Club -- Old Jim Diamonds
Review by: RT This course was the site of the old Jim Diamonds steakhouse and is now owned by the village of Antioch. I have played this course for many years and unfortunately like so many, condos and single family homes line many of the fairways of the course. Straightness off the tee comes into play on many of the holes. Hole number 2 is narrow and has OB to the left off the tee shot. Right is no good either as your ball will find the trees. Number 6 (just follow the signs to find the hole, it looks like you're going in someone's yard) is a short little par 3 over a pond that looks intimidating but has a very large green. Number 9, a long par 3 from the tips has a two tiered green. Make sure you put it on the correct level. The back nine is the better of the two with a really challenging par 5 and a par 4 (15th or 16th can't remember)in which you must hit a shot over water that may have boats passing through. If you hear the bell, wait, a boat is passing. All in all, not a bad course.
