Adirondack Golf & Country Club -- want a true challange
Review by: RMeconi This is one tough course. Narrow and demanding, although not overly long. From the championship tees or the whites it's a course that gives you the options of hitting drivers or being smart and playing to yardage markers...what I like the most is that with the exception of 10 and 11 you'll never see another golfer....each hole is an has looks and solitute. If you're looking for a course where you can let out the shaft and spray the ball, this is not the place to go. Course management is the key here. Only draw back is the greens could be softer and faster. If you walk there is quite a distance between many of the tees. If you want sand, water and narrow fairways that test your ability to hit it straight this is the course for you. If you want to let it fly, go to Bluff Point, or Lake Placid Clubs lower course.

" But you don't have to go up in the stands and play your foul balls. I do. -- Sam Snead, to Ted Williams, arguing which was more difficult, to hit a moving baseball or a stationary golf ball "
