This is a nice course for the price. The course conditions are generally very good. Course layout is interesting, with enough traps and water hazards to keep it interesting.
It can be crowded on weekend mornings, and the staff do not seem to honor tee times. So, you can get stuck behind a glut of walk-ons. |

Pine Trace offers a challenging 18 holes on classic layout. Winding through trees, over some hills, and some tough greens make this one of the best courses in S.E. Michigan in an area you don't have to drive an hour to get to.
Always well manicured, this course strives to keep pace of play moving. The rangers are stern, yet fair. I've known some of my friends put off by their forcefulness, but that's fine, they can play somewhere else.
