| Desert Dunes Golf Course -- Awesome Links Course |
| Review by: Tim |
This course is a hidden gem in the desert. The holes are all long and narrow, the greens are always in fantastic shape (except in July and August but it is a 110 degrees anyway). Watch out for desert rabbits, they are everywhere. The course might be a little to windy from June through September. |

| De Anza Desert Country Club -- Guest review |
| Review by: John Nave |
I have been a repeat guest at De Anza and have played the course about 3 dozen times over the past 10 years. With beautiful fairways, the course meanders through the residential area offering challenging play through now very mature trees. The course has been in outstanding condition every time I have played, with well-groomed tees and greens, the only matter the occasional damage from flash floods that hit the course every couple of years (but attended to immediately).
Food at the clubhouse is outstanding, the social events well-planned and the staff very personable as one would expect from a private club. One observation...there exist no incentives for new membership, little off-season golf packages while this club has stiff competition in Borrego Valley with several terrific golf courses.
A very enjoyable course to play at a club I actually would like to join, but will have to invest wisely in the future in order to do so with current pricing. |
