Hudson Mills Metro Park -- I might change my mind on this one
Review by: Mike I just played this course upon hearing good things but was a little disappointed about what I found. Maybe it was all of the rain lately but the fairways where rather long and the greens were in just aweful shape. On the good side, the front nine is pretty open and with some decent size greens to shoot at. I really should have scored better on the front. The back nine has some pretty holes and plays tighter due to the back being cut more through the woods. One of the back nine's holes was all dug up by what looked like a fox so the landing area from about 210 to 270 yards from the back tee, both fairway and rough, gave you little to work with as far as your second shot. Did shoot better on the back though, go figure. All in all, I'll go back in June or July and give it another try and see if conditions have improved 'cause the layout is pretty nice.

Brookside Golf Course -- Just Alright, but expensive
Review by: KF I had heard some favorable things about this course, and had also heard they had good rates, so I decided to check it out. To my dismay, for 9 holes of golf with a cart it was 36.50 on a weekend, which wouldn't be bad, if it was a nice course. We got out on the course, and the tee boxes were in rough shape, and the fairways and cart paths were just plain bumpy. Honestly, I think my lawn looked better kept than this course. I wouldn't recommend it. There are many other courses in the area that are MUCH nicer and in the same price range.
