William J. Devine Franklin Park Golf Course -- *very challenging*
Review by: dec	for a public course it is a gem especially because it is so close to the city. it is now maintained by a private course management company and they are doing a great job keeping the fairways maintained and the greens manicured. the course is very tough on casual golfers because it has several holes where you can't see the green from the tee box. it has the signature donald ross layout with some deceiving green placements and distances. you will have to use very club in your bag for this course. i love it and would recommend it for players of all levels because of the history and layout.

Hickory Hills Golf Course -- *Good play for the money*
Review by: Harry Houdini	Well-maintained public course. You'll get off at your appointed times, even on weekends. Not a lot of rough; wide fairways in most places; not many water challenges; bunkers tend to be moist in the morning; time between groups is a little close on weekend mornings; friendly staff; recommended over other courses in the area.
