William J. Devine Franklin Park Golf Course

Featured Golf Course Review:
William J. Devine Franklin Park Golf Course -- very challenging
Review by: dec for a public course it is a gem especially because it is so close to the city. it is now maintained by a private course management company and they are doing a great job keeping the fairways maintained and the greens manicured. the course is very tough on casual golfers because it has several holes where you can't see the green from the tee box. it has the signature donald ross layout with some deceiving green placements and distances. you will have to use very club in your bag for this course. i love it and would recommend it for players of all levels because of the history and layout.

Colonial Golf Club -- not worth the money
Review by: Eric Played late Sunday (3:30) they charge $48.00. I said I won't be able to get 18 in, have plans to go to the Sox game, they said it did not matter, its one rate for after 3:00. The carts are mandatory, and the course is not even close to ask for that kind of money. Tons of gooze crap, wet fairways, and lousy tees and greens. Don't waste your money there. Go to Mt. Hood before Colonial, half the money, and in much better shape, believe it or not.
