Apple Hill is a very good golf course. Reasonably priced and well-maintained. Some challenging hilly holes as wel as some good water holes. Most difficult is the 10th, with a 2nd shot over a large marsh. At the right time of day, can be played without a lot of crowds. Great evening deals. |

Although the first two holes have a rather open approach, the rest of the course requires nice straight drives. Most greens are easily reachable in two shots, but be careful of very fast greens once sitting. There is a good bit of sand and water in play on many holes but I rarely found myself in them. The two par three holes (for whatever reason) seemed to give me and those I was playing with the most trouble. The back nine (due to open later this year I believe) look beautiful and can only add to the pleasure of this course. |
