Muttontown Club, The
Pine Hollow Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Pine Hollow Country Club -- Very difficult course
Review by: Mark Elder This spectacular old money country club is set on rolling terrain. Greens are lightning fast and steeply sloped. The sand is heavy beach type that really slows down your club speed. You must have a caddy that knows the course (ours didn't) or play with a member. The course is much harder than the rating/slope would indicate.

Pheasant Hollow Golf Club -- Clean Hits a Must
Review by: Kevin Phillips A challenging nine holer. Very firm fairways due to a clay base, makes hitting the ball clean, a must. Driving over a pond on the first hole is intimidating and may require the not so skilled golfer to lay up, and take a longer secoind shot. Not necessarily a bad choice. Throw in a couple of par 5's with narrow fairays, a couple of tee shots through some narrow tree lined openings , a very reasonable price and there you have it, a fun day on the links. All in all, a nice course with a helpful staff, and with a laid back feeling that takes off the "rush rush" pressure that the big courses give, makes golfing here a very pleasurable time.
