Eaton CC is not a difficult course, but it is lots of fun to play. The farmland setting is extremely peaceful and the view of the front range is beautiful. The best and most challenging part of the course is (are?) the wonderful greens - huge, smooth, and contoured. If they're cut down, do everything in your power to stay below the hole!!
Although a private club, Eaton hosts several open tournaments a year and Rick Cole and his staff are most welcoming.
All-in-all, a great place to play!

Although this is a very forgiving course (you can hit left or right and still recover nicely), it does present a challange. The greens are some of the best I've played in 5 states. Over the past year or so they have really added to the beauty of the course adding some rolling hills and extra T boxes. Fairways are very very well maintained.
The Restaurant is an added bonus with great food and down home friendly folks throughout. Nice pro shop too!
Overall a great experience with a "More than expected" outing top to bottom. |
