Emerald Lakes Golf Center -- The nicest 9 hole around
Review by: Morris Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

Brookside Golf Club - Number Two Course -- Good course long Par 4's
Review by: Sean Astin This course is pretty good considering it consists of alot of par 4 holes. The greens and fairways are kept in good shape. The only problem is the abundance of golfers waiting to get on. Expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes per hole on weekends. If you put yourself on the waiting list your looking to get on in 40 min. to and Hour. Your best bet is to get a tee time and sometimes that can be inpossible.
