| Review by: Previous member | This course was made on the "wetlands" (in Howard County?) and because the "designers" (read owners) had to work around so many natural areas, it is mostly rinky-dink. Extreme doglegs with long second shots into sloped greens. Blind shots. Newer holes were worked into the old courses and you have a "new" green on one hole and an "old" green on the next and the grasses are different. Try getting used to that! Poorly maintained, crowded. Nice hotel pool, that the members couldn't use when I was a member. | |

| Review by: Sr. Salsa P. | fun, spacious layout, with a pleasently isolated feel about the whole course. wide open and well groomed, the fairways welcome the big hitter. the greens tend to be soft (BW is bordered by the Potomac R.) but also roll quick and true. if your crazy, you can play the black tees, but even for the low capper, blues are the proper challenge-you still have a 200yd shot over water at the par3 9th, and a 448yd, dead uphill, OB on right, par4 18th. its a cool course, you'll have fun. | |
