Turf Valley Resort & Conference Center - North Course -- Homemade, and it shows
Review by: Previous member This course was made on the "wetlands" (in Howard County?) and because the "designers" (read owners) had to work around so many natural areas, it is mostly rinky-dink. Extreme doglegs with long second shots into sloped greens. Blind shots. Newer holes were worked into the old courses and you have a "new" green on one hole and an "old" green on the next and the grasses are different. Try getting used to that! Poorly maintained, crowded. Nice hotel pool, that the members couldn't use when I was a member.

Gunpowder Golf Club -- The Blue colar golf courst
Review by: Pete Harkins Nowhere! In the Washington or Baltimore area will you find a greater bunch of fine "Blue Colar" Golfer that play the game, as it is played in Ireland or Scotland than at the Gunpowder Golf course. I know, because I have played Ireland the "Royal County Down", and Grand daddy of all the Course at "St. Andrews". Gun powder has the same Golf Spirit.
