Rolling Meadows Country Club -- Front Nine at Rolling Meadows
Review by: Joe France I had a couple of hours yesterday and decided to go out at Rolling Hills. The front nine is much better than I expected. Playing from the blues it was a reasonable test (for an 16.9 like me). I had one birdie, two pars and the rest were bogies. The greens were hard, and I had a couple of close landings roll off the back. A high launch angle is required. Fairways are pretty generous, although you can see on most holes that danger lurks for the errant ball striker. I enjoyed the facility, and the people were very nice. The course was not too crowded after 3 PM on a Sunday, and I only waited on one hole. As a public course, the thoughtless users failed to rake bunkers, and I spend a lot of time repairing ball marks on the beautiful greens. All in all for public golf, you can't beat walking on a decent course for $19 walking. Look forward to playing a full 18. Joe

Rolling Meadows Country Club -- Contrast
Review by: Mike Rolling Meadows was a great early season golf course. the front nine offered generous landing areas from the tee and the greens were large. I thought the front nine was the perfect season opener. After the generous front came a very different back nine. The fairways were tight and I was glad the driver wasn't misbehaving. the greens were undulating and quicker than the front nine's. The people were friendly and we received great service in the bar. This is one we'll certainly return to for our off season golf fix.

Ellington Ridge Country Club -- One of the Best in CT
Review by: Kevin It is without a doubt one of the nicest courses in CT. It is kept very well with fantastic greens and fairways as well as a challenging course it is too.
