Centerton Golf Club -- very open
Review by: mattocaster Was invited to go to this one with some friends. It was a longer drive to get there, but golf is worth it. To me, being a beginner, I found the course friendly to play. There are a few holes with some water that were tricky. The greens and fairways looked a little brown but then again, this was in Aug and the weather had been very hot and dry.

Glenwood Country Club -- Long and tight
Review by: Jerry Nestles This private 18 hole par 72 is one of the toughest courses in the State. It is beautifully tree lined with gorgeous fairways and immaculately manicured rough, especially around the greens. If you are able to play this one, dont let it pass you by. The 4 finishing hoiles are terrific.

" A game in which you claim the privileges of age, and retain the playthings of childhood. -- Author Unknown, plagiarized from the Samuel Johnson quotation "It is a hopeless endeavour to unite the contrarieties of spring and winter; it is unjust to claim the priveleges of age, and retain the play-things of childhood." (Thank you, Frank Lynch. "
