Oakwood Country Club -- Beautiful, demanding course with Incredible Greens
Review by: Steve Smith This is a Perry Maxwell splendor. Nearly all of the greens slope back to front as a welcome reception to a usually long approach. The undulations on these greens are one small step away from being unfair they are so difficult. The reason they still qualify as fair is because of their immaculate condition and true roll. These bent grass greens are among the toughest but well maintained in the state. The golf course has imagination and if you don't drive it straight, you will be penalized. There are opportunities on the par 5's, but again, you must put your drive where it needs to be or a possible 4 can easily turn into a 7 or worse. Overall, this is a fantastic golf course. There's a reason why they have sectional qualifying for the U.S. Open at this wonderful track.

Meadowlake Golf Course -- Dissapointed
Review by: Travis Henry 8/26/04-Course seemed to be in transition or in need of some updating and some major improvements. Staff/Pro not impressive & simple food overpriced.

Meadowlake Golf Course -- Average course, but plays fun.
Review by: Jack McMichael I really enjoy this course when I come visit Enid. It is in overall average to good condition. Greens are usually in great shape. Fairways can sometimes use some work. Lots of large trees on the edges make slicers cringe. Contrary to others, I've found the staff friendly and even have taken a lesson. Overall value is outstanding. Not a very difficult course, but a few holes with some nasty trees.
