I was not impressed with this course at all. It is comparable to playing in a pasture with poor fairways and small uneven greens. The cost to play 18 holes is cheap, but after we played the front nine we decided we couldn't handle another nine and called it a day. |

Sugar Hills is a great course to play while your in the area. It is probably the best course in Northwest Kansas. It is one of the few 18 hole courses in the area. Sugar Hills for the majority of the course, is pretty open. There are some challenging holes with trees, dog-legs, and out-of-bounds standing in your way. It is an advantage as always to hit it straight here, but you can still score decent even with a few bad shots. There are some pretty forgiving holes. And there are a few holes that you may pick up strokes on for not hitting fairways. Mainly because of the out-of-bounds that runs all the way down quite a few fairways. It is a great course to play and really enjoyable from tee to green. |
