Fazio attempted to bring his majestic style to not-so-majestic piece of land. The location is awful, intermingled amongst thousands of houses and the Maine Turnpike you feel more like your playing chip and putt in your backyard opposed to golfing a challenging course. The course is fun however and it can get difficult if you dont find the fairway off the tee. Rounds tend to be about 5 hours with very several 100+ yard walks from green to tee. If you are able to block out the miniature city your playing in than you may enjoy yourslef. |

Designed by one of the most prestigous golf designers ever, Donald Ross, this course is deceptively challenging and obviously beautiful. Set upon a mile long stretch of Casco Bay this course gives you a wonderful coastal Maine feel and also a very backwoods feel with holes 10-15 being pine lined wonders. Wonderful topography and terrain gives the course its character and creates several blind shots. PCC is always in the best of conditions thanks to a very attentive greens crew.Difficult bunkers and fairly long rough challenges the golfers wits and golfing ability.It is a wondeful course to walk and you will very much enjoy your time at this secluded golf club. |
