Passaconaway Country Club -- needs attention
Review by: daveg The course itself is a wonder; squeezed between the Merrimack River and Route 3A in Litchfield. It is long and narrow and, used to be all farm land. For such a picture perfect environment, the course should be in in much better shape. Even with all of the play, the greens, fairways and rough show neglect. With ample water from the River and good sod underneath, there is no excuse for poor playing conditions. The staff is average at best. They do not do anything more than the minimum. Too bad as this could be such a jewel due to locale, layout and length. It is a good course for longball hitters if, all you care about is hitting the ball and none of the other facors in golf(friendly staff, carts & paths in good condition, etc.). Worth a visit if you are in the area; I would like to hear another golfers opinion!
