Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort -- Rocky Gap Review
Review by: Mark A beautiful course setting with mountains all around and a lake near by. Interstate 68 is a bit too close to the course but that is a minor distraction. The "open" section of the course is a bit boring. The mountain section is quite a lovely challenge. My biggest gripe is that I prefer to walk but this course is too spread for that. A cart is a must. There is a set of tees for every skill level. For the price, the course offers good value. This is a fine location for a corporate get-together. Good meeting areas, fine dining, great golf in a convenient yet relaxed setting. The Golden Bear has put a true beauty in Western Maryland. One nine is perfect and the other needs a wee bit of tinkering to be great.

Review by: Rob Evers Service is poor. Course is beat all up. But if you just want to have some fun with your son at a very cheap price and you are not too serious about Golf, well then this course if for you. You get what you pay for. (I think recently they changed their name to Gunpowder Falls.)
