This is a tale of 3 nines.
Blue - open and the long hitters dream. It is relatively flat and open, but beware of the water hazards on practically every hole - the only defense on this nine.
Red - I believe one of the finest tests of golf anywhere, certainly at this course. From the first tee, the golfer's ability to select and make shots is tested on every hole. Nothing is quite what it seems at first.
White - probably the least played. Similar to the red. However, expect to make mistakes here since it is tight with lot's of trouble. It combines the hazards of the blue with layout challenges of the red.
The one concern here is the price - it is not worth the $79 weekend rate. However, if you can play this for less than $50, it's a good time. |
