This course is great for beginners, which may explain why it can take so long to play the course during regular hours, especially on the weekends. The fairways are fairly wide, the rough is pretty light, and, although the greens can be fast, they are large enough and flat enough that you can play aggresively towards most of the holes. Although water comes into play on two holes, unless you mishit short and low you can easily clear these. There enough greenside bunkers to give opportunities to work on sand saves and a few fairway bunkers to present opportunities to work on picking it off the sand. If you can hit it over 270 and straight there are opportunities to eagle on several of the par 4's. If you want to avoid the crowds try going during twilight hours. If you do you'll find that quite often there is no one in front of or behind you so you can play through the whole course in less than 2 hours. |
