Geneseo Golf Course -- Home(ghost)town
Review by: Brad Rolfs For the beginner, it is an ideal course as the most valuable aspect of the game (any game) is fundamentals. This wide open visible atmosphere is perfect for working on your game. The fact that this course is on the outskirts of a virtual ghost town is a tribute to those who have worked to sustain it. The many different activities that occur during the year (tournaments, fish frys, meeting places for alumni, etc.) emphasize the importance of building relationships. This, grouped with the fun of the game itself, lends to the relaxed atmosphere of prairie life in Kansas. Oh ya, it's very affordable. Tell me, how many places can boast that these days?

St. Andrew's Golf Club -- St. Andrews is mediocre at best
Review by: Max Be warned that Overaland Park courses play 5 somes. Yuck! Slow as Christmas. However, if you are stuck in Johnson County, short on cash and want to play, St. Andrews can satisfy your fix. First of all the clubhouse is beautiful. The course is an easy walk. The front is easy and boring, but the back has a pretty good layout. 2 stars is all it warrants, but thats better than 1 star
