| Geneseo Golf Course -- Home(ghost)town |
| Review by: Brad Rolfs |
For the beginner, it is an ideal course as the most valuable aspect of the game (any game) is fundamentals. This wide open visible atmosphere is perfect for working on your game. The fact that this course is on the outskirts of a virtual ghost town is a tribute to those who have worked to sustain it. The many different activities that occur during the year (tournaments, fish frys, meeting places for alumni, etc.) emphasize the importance of building relationships. This, grouped with the fun of the game itself, lends to the relaxed atmosphere of prairie life in Kansas. Oh ya, it's very affordable. Tell me, how many places can boast that these days? |

I was not impressed with this course at all. It is comparable to playing in a pasture with poor fairways and small uneven greens. The cost to play 18 holes is cheap, but after we played the front nine we decided we couldn't handle another nine and called it a day. |
