Glendale Lakes Golf Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Glendale Lakes Golf Club -- Over 6 hours to golf 18 holes is long
Review by: Anonymous The club doesn't seem to care about how many strokes some golfers take to finish up a hole. Went there yesterday, paid $55 per person for 18 holes. There was an outing that was really backing things up. The club did not care enough to tell the outing to either skip holes or play scramble. At one point, there was a foursome playing hole 13, two foursomes were waiting to play 13, there was a threesome playing 12, a threesome waiting to play on 12 and another twosome waiting to play on 12. Otherwise, decent course to play on.

Cary Country Club -- Diamond in the rough
Review by: Ron of Japan Don't be swayed by a bad review of this course. Snooty snoots might not like it because it's a tad easier than neighboring golf courses, with not as much water and a forgiving tee selection. However, if you are like me, and are sporting a mid teen handicap, then you will be interested in Cary CC as you might be able to break 80 for the first time on a par 72 course. I'm a 17 handicap, and my best score ever is an 81, which I got at Cary CC. Slope/rating is lower than average, but hey, that's a relief on occasion. The staff have been nothing but overly enthusiastic about making my rounds smooth and enjoyable.
