My son, a Scratch golfer recommended this course to me (a 20 somethng handicapper). It lived up to his report. The views are amazing, the course even more so. Back tees require a low handicap, accuracy is important, the desert areas are unforgiving, I played the Blues around 6300 yards. A couple of greens needed some work but generally in very good condition. Range balls are included, but no drivers on the range. The food carts are regular and well stocked. If you want a cheaper round, check AZ Tee Times, I saved approx. $50. |

We double dipped it..Sidewinder in the morning and Dinasaur in the afternoon on a Saturday ($165 included both courses, carts, and range balls). Pace of play was good on both courses (< 4 hours each). Sidewinder is a fun track with tough large greens. Dinosaur is a must play for out of state visitors. The views and landscape is Arizona at its finest! Had a blast and hope to return each year. |
