Country Club of Detroit - Regulation Course -- CCD
Review by: Eaton Hamilton Fun course with lots of traps that have steep faces. The par 5's are short, with the exception of #10 (590 yards from the tip). No water and minimal elevation change. What you see is what you get. Pace was good. Course was well maintained. Greens were moderately fast and relatively small compared to many of the newer courses. A couple had two tiers.

Pheasant Run Golf Club -- Challenging Hills golf in SE Michigan
Review by: Rbic Pheasant Run has 27 holes of Arthur Hills golf in a suburb of Detroit. The West/South 18 plays to a 74.9/148 rating but has 4 sets of tees which make it playable for any golfer. The North/South 18 is rated slightly easier at 73/142. You will find wetlands, bunkers and water but the fairways are generous and the greens moderate in size. The putting surfaces are quick but not impossible and the condition of the course is excellent. If you are in this area, Pheasant Run can be a challenge that you will enjoy.
