Tavistock Country Club -- Average at best
Review by: Jeff Played a as guest in mid-May. Boring Course. Grrens are OK -- a lot of undulation. Not a lot of memorable holes, with the exception of a couple par 3's. 16 (I think) is a par 3 with a stupid green. Conditions were not much better than a public course. They need to bring in a USGA course guy. I know it is an old course, but too many bald spots due to the thickness of the trees. Need to get some sun and air circulation to help with conditions. And what's with the range? Nothing over a 150 yards... I Try to play as many of the privates as possible, but I'll put this in the "Been there done that..." category.

Review by: Stik There are some watering holes, and you need to hit a driver from several par 4's (from the back tee). Few par 3's were over 200 yards -- and one of them had water in play up to the green. With the exception for the geese dung, it was a nice experience. Staff were friendly, also.
