Friendly Meadows Golf Course -- Having seen almost every course in Cinti.......
Review by: John I've seen many a golf course in Cincinnati, mostly public but quite a few private. Friendly Meadows golf course is one of my favorite courses to play because of it's wide array of challenges without being a target golf course. You don't find yourself hitting half shots off the tee or getting robbed because of a strange bounce in the middle of a fairway. The course is fair although I hate hitting my tee shot off of #11. If you don't mind a little drive you should check it out. It'll be one of the few courses you'll play this year in par time! The greens are VERY nice and the course shows sings of improvemnet every year. Hopefully the tree limbs off the tees on #11 and #6 from the back tees get trimmed up.
Don't let the slope fool you, get lazy and you'll easily add a few strokes to your score. Keep the ball in play and you'll reap the rewards.

Willow Run Golf Course -- Nasty Members
Review by: Gavin Meeks My experiences with this course have been negative. Most of the times I have tried to play it, which have been nemerous, there have been outings or other events taking place. On two different occasions when we did get on, members in carts a number of holes behind us were following our groups; we were foursomes walking. We were approached by these members and told to catch up with the group in front of us and that if we did not we would be asked to leave. The problem is, the groups in front of us, on BOTH occasions, were threesomes in carts. There was no way, short of running, we could have stayed in position. We finished both rounds in just under four hours, 3:55 or so as I recall and made the turn in just under two hours both times. After the second incident, I have not been back since.
