|Friendly Meadows Golf Course -- Having seen almost every course in Cinti.......|
|Review by: John||I've seen many a golf course in Cincinnati, mostly public but quite a few private. Friendly Meadows golf course is one of my favorite courses to play because of it's wide array of challenges without being a target golf course. You don't find yourself hitting half shots off the tee or getting robbed because of a strange bounce in the middle of a fairway. The course is fair although I hate hitting my tee shot off of #11.
If you don't mind a little drive you should check it out. It'll be one of the few courses you'll play this year in par time! The greens are VERY nice and the course shows sings of improvemnet every year. Hopefully the tree limbs off the tees on #11 and #6 from the back tees get trimmed up.
Don't let the slope fool you, get lazy and you'll easily add a few strokes to your score. Keep the ball in play and you'll reap the rewards.

|Sycamore Creek Country Club -- One of the best courses in Miami Valley|
|Review by: Matt||Even though this is course is somewhat short, it is one of the most challenging courses you'll play in the Miami Valley. This course rewards accurate driving and shot-shaping approaches. Great placement of bunkers, tees and greens are engulfed by trees, and some of the quickest, true-rolling greens around (greens roll at @ 10-13 on the Stimp, depending on time of year). The $3 million renovation is only making this course better, especially the bunkers and greens surround. The renovation is bringing more water into play and revising some of the "stupid" holes once there. Once completed, this course will be compared to NCR South, which is arguably the best course in the Miami Valley. Overall, it's is a great test of golf and one of the best deals if you get the chance to play.|
