Herndon Centennial Golf Course -- Golf Review
Review by: EZE Herndon is an enjoyable course to play. It forces you to think before you drive. If you are driving the ball, well you can over-power the course but at the same time, if your drives are off there is plenty of trouble waiting for you. The staff does a wonderful job of maintaining the course especially the greens. This is a great home course if I lived near by I would play it a least a couple of times a week to keep my game sharp.

Bristow Manor Golf Club -- nice layout with creek and zoysia fairways
Review by: Joe MacFarlane Zoysia fairways are a pleasure to hit off of. Creek works its way through numerous holes. Greens are pretty flat with very few undulations. Placement and distance control crucial to scoring well. 18th hole one of the great challenges of golf in the area, few pars are had. I have never seen or heard of a birdie on this tough hole. Easy looking but sneaky hard par 3's. Driver not needed when playing from the white tees (not recommended) a better test of golf from the blues. Only real men need play the black tees.
